I'm looking for a photo of Bill Mitchell standing between two Sharks
and at lest one of them has a Odd shapped roof like a raised box.I know I've had the photo in my collection for some time but, I believe
I've lost it because I can't find it in my archives at the moment. It's a good photo and I believe some of you know exactly which photo
I'm talking about. If you find it please post it here. I've been reading some interesting things about this and would like to confirm it. Thanks!  McBrain

I've been looking for replacement dash parts and have found that my
dash is hard to find. I have the ignition switch on the dash next to
the speed and tach. Most of the time the ignition is on the steering
column, when mines on the dash it'self.Is this a 68 thing only or, did other modles come like this and how
can I go about finding an exact replacement? McBrain

Wow, thanks for the info Randy.
Do you know how to go about getting the 68 dash part or its, I have
to restore the piece if I got it kind of thing, because it's just to
hard to find? Cause I do kind of like that it's a one year only kind
of thing, that the rest of the vette have them on the column. Unique
you know. I know I'm going custom but, I think some things should
remain OEM.Let me know what ya think... McBrain

Well, the one I have has little damage, just a crack on the ignition
switch mount and part of the vinyl is peeling back in the same area but
other than that, It seems for the most part good.Maybe if I was to pull the vinal off, repair the crack and stretch new
vinyl or an easier none noticeable approach that I have yet to figure
out may be the key. http://www.vtr.org/maintain/dash-recovering.html Seems to me like a lot of work but, may be well worth it.
I seem to recall, you were looking for a dash part replacement as well.
