My system crashed,or something."T" I love your wrap around spoiler,I've seen something like it but can't remember where.I want to make a diary,or video of what I'm doing. We bought a new T hink V.A Dell that cooks. My camera takes good pictures but the attachment box will only hold 130Kb my pic's are 171+Kb.When I go to b-ham I'll try shooting at a lower resulation ,might work?Anyhoo,I like to see behind me so the loovers deal is cool 2!I'd love to make bowling Green but I rather do it right than just do it.I wish I had found the car last year.I would have liked to hook up in Hotlanta m.s.Are any of you going to K.Y.?If I come I'll bring some pic's.I'd hate to slam the car back together, knowing I'd have to redo it.Gotta go dreamer.

Somehow the setting had gotten bumped down, probably by the restore that they had done. Anyway it back to 500K, so upload away.

my digital camera set on "best" my pictures are huge, David likes 'em big but I still knock them down to about half what the camera uploads them to my computer at.
I use "ulead" photo editor does almost everything "adobe" does for free.

dreamer I'm sorry but I seem to have gotten' everyone on the wrong subject again. Was there a mako hood without the dips?It almost looks like they took the light doors off and slanted back futher. The summer car's snout looks makoish but I think smoother.I was looking at the hood dips last night, and hate them worse than you hate the side windows.I like smooth transition lines.I got tied up in the Mako of it,then it hit me,heck, this is customizin'THERE ARE NO RULES!!!WE are makin'em' up as we go.Our children will tell their kids of the cars we have/are building. The "SUMMER"car is such an example.Sure the scoop was F/U the flames sucked, the taillights were cheap ect.IT's easy to pick a car apart, but this is the most recognizable vette' ever made.Hate it and love it and try to top it! "T" love that spoiler!!

I still believe the front clip of the CSC is far closer to a cut up stock than a mako clip, I will play in photo shop and see if I can ghost one over the other, go back to the first page of this thread I posted pics of each the CSC is no maco clip, the hood dips in the Maco in my opinion make the front end look wild, wild may not mean cool to everyone but without them in my eyes it looks like somethings missing, the only other good out is the styling rips like on randys hood they break it up without the dips you hate.
I've always said the same thing about the CSC like it or hate it you never forget it, when I first saw it I couldn't come close, at the risk of sounding arrogant I find it easy for others to top now....
Cheers, t.

dreamer I'm Not sure if it's the dips I dislike or the fact that they do nothing.Honestly,it's not that I hate them,it's that I can't figure a CSC type light placement with them there.I know the dips say maco, but mine look like an afterthought.when I get a scanner I'll show you what I'm workin'on.

I don't understand the dips either. They aren't on the real Mako. If/when I ever get the CNC Mill, then I'm going to make grill-like panels that fill them in like on the real Mako.

DREAMER: If you wanna get an idea of the dips with CSC headlights look at Davids car, and I don't want to offend but the angel of the lights don't match the angle of the dips so it doesn't look like one or the other belong on the same car,so in the case of Davids car it might just look better without the dips, which brings me to this question, DAVID: if you want to get closer to the real GM MAKO are you going to redo your headlights???

I have talked about doing different headlights on mine something like the GM Manta ray lights, I would match the rear angle of the light bucket to the front angle of the dips, then use the newer 2X4" quad lights these are the smallest factory headlamp there is, I would put a very lightly smoked cover over that to not mess up the peaked smooth flowing nose lines, I have been doing alot of this type thing in my computer photo shop I get to see what things look like without breaking a sweat.

DREAMER: I don't know about understanding the dips, The GM MAKO DID have vents there, not dips mind you but that's only because they had grills over them, they were meant to let the hot air out of the radiator, however I have a picture of the GM show car and the radiator is more to the stock location so the vents didn't work on the show car. after reading all the Silva info Harry sent me I believe the man to be a design guru so he had something in mind, personally I like them, the makos without them seem to be missing something to me, but hey, my taste is always different to the flock.
Cheers, T.
