VBP Suspension question

Just had the VBP suspension installed on my second mako. Problem is that car still sits too high. My mechanic says he has lowered the car the lowest he can without compromising performance and before anything hits bottom. Any input would be greatly appreciated with any additional adjustments that may be made to lower it more.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I called VBP and ordered the longer bolts. Arrived Friday and should be installed tomorrow. Can't wait to get the right rake!

Yes sir! Randy was correct. I called VBP and ordered the longer bolts and that did the trick. It brought the rear down about 2 1/4 inches. We just had to make sure not to bring the front down too far so it did not bottom out. Also need to make sure that we don't ruin the exhaust going over any speed bumps etc. by lowering front too much.

I did this for the 68 and 69.

I must admit that the VBP composite suspension is worth every penny!! I did both front and rear . Car drives like a ferrari now. What a difference. I am thinking on installing on my last Shark. I will NEVER get my money back for this upgrade but do we really do this crazy stuff as an investment...... NOT!

My rear has a mod already but I am
planning to do the front with VB&p kit.
Some improvements you can recoup because
they are tangible ,not cosmetic .
