Wayne, we are all looking for a cheap one!
Lots of times people dont realize the amount of work and dollars
that go into a custom car. With kits at 6 grand, its hard to get a running shark for that price anymore.

There are a few cars for sale, but cheap just doesnt seem to be in the descriptions.
2 for sale right now on traderonline, one at 18.5 and one at 16, and you still dont know what you got until you get it home and check it out.

Hmmmm anyone have a gen idea what my car might be worth? I pd 7k for it in 1980 just as my bro in law finished the kit. It was at that time 100% he took the time to do the car right.

My car now is getting close to being in tip top shape with just a paint job from being what I'd call 100% but the paint is good at this time just not perfect.

I do want a new rear end, comp spring and complete front suspension kit but thats not needed I just have the wants for that stuff.

My brother (not my bro in law) thinks my car isn't worth anything he's a stock guy. Lol he had a stock 72 he just sold and bought a 94 vert. IMO he was an idiot to sell a classic for a newer car that are a dime a dozen.

Mako prices are all over the place, there is no book value to go by, all seems to depend on the individual car and its history. As well as the owner and whether or not you really want to sell it.

All over the place is right... a few months ago and I the minimum that I would have taken for my car was $25K... in a few more months, the minimum that I will take will be $40K... (some progress that is happening to it).
