I'm getting close to figuring this out. My picture is 560kb and I can only send 115kb? Thanks for the info on attachments. dreamer. By the way, your shark is primo! I've made my decision.I stripped the inside the day after I got the car,but wanted to get help pulling the nose off.The previous owners made new hinges, but you can only lift it enough to pee under.About1/3 of what it needs. When I get to tampa I'm gonna try to find "T" a sharks gills.I might even make you a set if you say please Ha,Ha. dreamer.

Wayne,
I wish I could judge weight better, my front clip is about 1 2/3 times as thick as the factory stock piece maybe twice as much in places, when I said I can pick it up and move it around don't get me wrong I can pick up my volkswagen engine from my trike but I can't do much after I get it picked up....the resin weighs more than the 'glass so in these custom pieces it would weigh more if it was chopper gun built or not rolled out as much, mine appears to be hand laid from mat.... the factory presses their pieces....I wouldn't really be too concerned if it has lived this long....
Dreamer...you can email pictures to me or Anyone else here and we can edit the size if needed....I live in Orlando not Tampa but wave a hand if you come thru downtown O-town....
Cheers, T.

Wanye, who made all these...well I believe Silva made the original molds and many cars and parts then Motion teamed with him for a spell but that didn't work out, motion "took" a mold off the silva part,
I can tell by looking which clip was from a silva mold and which was from a motion mold....then there is the tenn ones that don't have deep hood dips just style ridges and then theres yours with no hood dips at all which some people say were not in the mold others feel the dips were filled after the part was made....
so really short of knowing the history of the said part/car there's no way to really know who built it.....the day will come when I pull a mold off my part so then the "tyla" clip will be thrown into the mix,
I do know sonme of the motion built cars after he parted from silva didnt have the heavy big glassed in plates under the nose for hinge mounting they just had some angel iron or bar stock in there, check the pictures on the owners pages to see what I mean.....

Dreamer try sending me just an empty email or give me your email address.....

Cheers, T.

The Corvette museum in Daytona was supposed to have at least 1 Corvette from every year. I haven't been there, but local friends here have.

Dreamer, make sure you upload a .JPG image and also select the type .JPG in the upload dialog.

I have hit the big flea market next to that car place many times the car place doesn't look like much from the outside...never been in the mood to go in there I don't recall if it's still open I remember them saying they had a vette of each year but I recall people telling me they didn't really....that most of the cars were on loan...the last billboard for them I saw had the first batmobile and the flintstones car.....
I'll look into it...
Cheers, T.
