"WAY BIG NEWS!!!"

Ok, so everybody has seen the "wild colors" Maco replica that is cruzing around overseas, right?
What if I told you he has contacted us? what if I told you his name is:
Einar Valsjo and he lives in Trondheim, Norway?
What if I also told you I now have a bunch of pics?
Add to that, I will post them, but first......supper!

HOLY CRAP SHARKMAN !!! Post them ,post them. That would be awesome to see that thing here. That is the closest anyone has ever come to duplicating the original. I wonder if it has changed in the last several years. Oh sooo many questions about that car. He's gonna run fast when we beat him up about it.

Nice job Randy. What a pleasure seeing that. It is gorgeous !! I didn't think the paint would be that nice. Love the metalfkake. Looks like my van. Lots of candies in it too. I want to know where all the fins came from. Were they all custom made aluminum, or can they be bought?? Never saw the interior. Soooo 70's. Love it. Like the TV too. Big flashback to the 60's + 70's. All I can say is WOW + thanks. I hope he will be joining us.

Anybody know how many hours went into that paint? Looks really good, really cool classic interior too. It would definitely be nice to have him join the forum. I'm sure we all have lots of questions for him.

All I can say is- A LONG TIME !!! I had around 35 hours in my paint, and there was no where near that much graphics on it. Although I have a huge roof, and the vette doesn't, I'm sure it took around 100 hours. I said the same- we will have tons of questions for him.

OOOO MMMM GGGG !!!!

Love to finally see good quality photos of this baby.

I have studied the mako very intensely to detail and
I can tell from what he has produced that he has as
well.

I am sorry to say that i'm not in the same boat with
yall on the paint and interior but I can see past all
of that for what this baby has truely accomplished.

I too would enjoy him as a member and to have an
owners page of his own. I hope he is monitoring this
and realizes we all love the fine job he has made.

Thanks for sharing the photos with the site.

And Maco Lovers we shall be, for Chevy my Vette for thee.
Power hath decended forth from thy Foot so our tires may
swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a rubber
river forth to thee and teeming with Maco's shall it ever be.

wow, that's a great job! the tail, the nose, the engine compartment, the knock off wheels! great details!

i wonder why who decided to spend all that hours in painting didn't make a shark colors replica... anyway that paint is really one of a kind!

great job, we should contact all the "Sharkers" here in Europe! There are some great Macos in Germany!

The owners son was lead to the site and he emailed the forum.
David forwarded it to me, and the rest, so they say, is history.
I have contacted him and am awaiting a reply on a ton of questions.
