Added another Mako to the Owner's page. Dustin has come here looking a little, but I don't think he has registered yet...

Where is he from?
I have a pattern for the grille for that front if he needs one.
"Randy"
Bay area in California. Hopefully he comes on-line soon and participates in the board :)
BTW---I updated his page with some more information he mailed me.

Like to get A look at the rear clip, I know that Mako rear clips rule, but theres something about that flat between the rear window and the spoiler that looks great. All the roadsters have it, love the look of A roadster with the removable hard top.

Very cool another Mako,
Randy, I could use that grill pattern...
Harry, I always liked the removable hardtop on my 72 a bit better than even the stock 68-77 coupe rear treatment....
I have to go with what I have at the moment for my rear end...
Dustin, I know very well the water problem you speak of forgive me this will get long winded,
After you rule out the wiper trasmissions, and a rusted out windshield pillar,
You will find that water comes in where that weird little fiberglass triangle is pop riveted to the car, the sealer wears out and rivets get slop in them and when water get there just right the floor gets a puddle, if you look up under the dash it looks like it's coming from a hidden place at the corner of the dash....
The fix...
the triangle is just under the top corner of the upper cowl/fender it has to be removed to be fixed right, I have heard of people pouring sealer in there but that's a sloppy band-aid at best.
It's not a weekend repair, things are pretty dirty if it's never been serviced, I plan to clean mine rust proof the metal side that's on the car and use better silicone sealer.
Here's a couple pictures I happen to have if you want better ones or want to see the fiberglass triangle that pop rivets on let me know I will get them up right away....
The red dots are the rivet holes the red square marks where this triangle is hiding under.
Cheers, T.
