I looked all over at the time and that was the best that I could find. Like I said, it is available for a little bit cheaper now.

In my opinion, any serious Corvette lover should own the movie.

I bought it because I had a '79 Corvette that I was going to customize to look like it... but then when I view the movie again (only saw it once, back in '80 or so when it was on TV), it wasn't quite what I remembered.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It was like that
for me about the car in the movie The Wraith.

Lol old school movie, one of Charlie Sheans
first. Was a good movie back then.

Just found a new one, or rather old I should say.
Enjoy

If you look closely there are a bunch of differences between that picture and the movie car. I had heard that there was more than one built. Look at the paint and the sidepipes, and also the wheels.
When I drove the car a few years ago, it was sporting glass tops instead of the "moon roofs" that were on the car in the movie.

wan't claiming that the pic was laget, just found it on the net
last night and desided to share it. Besides, The picture I posted last
had a CAN AM rear around the rear wheels, the movie car didn't.
It was the similarity I was pointing out.

But yeah, I know what you mean.

David, I'll have to be on your side on this one. I loved the Corvette Summer car. It just so wild- slap-you-in-the-face cool. I love customized vettes and I dont think ther have been too many done as much as that one. i wanted one so bad back then. The shark was as close as I could get. I actually saw the movie car for sale in the back of Hot Rod magazine in the late 70's or early 80's. They were asking $10,000 back then. If I only knew......

The movie Wraith was a good ' B ' movie. I liked all the cars in it. That car was a kit car from a Fiero . If you watch the movie close, you can see alot of air space in the wheel wells. Still neat looking. Charlie was real young in that movie. I still see it occationally on cable. Good movie for a car guy.
