"Carlisle 2015"
Apr-23-15, 08:54 PM (EDT)
I hope most of you have already made your reservations for this year.
I have yet to send in my money for the fun field, but I will do that very soon.
I have come to the fact that it will be yet another year WITHOUT the
Streamliner. It just will not be ready. I have too many projects this year to spend the amount of time it will take to build the car to the way that I want it.
I will be bringing the 69 Can Am again. I hope to install a better road gear as that 3:70 is killing my engine at those constant highway speeds. Easier and waaay cheaper to change the gear than to go to a 5 or 6 speed transmission.
Also, I will be swapping out my Dakota Digital remote door/window system for the 3rd time. Man, those things are starting to fail at an alarming rate. on my 3rd one on the streamliner and the 2nd one on the Hot Rod. I need to find a better set up... any suggestions?
Anyway, that is where I am during this point and time.
Whatchall got planned?

"Randy"

Randy,
what i like also on those old cars is the simple mechanical stuff.
Those things fail much less, but if, then we can repair it.
My suggestion, throw out the gimmicks and go oldschool.

The problem is that on these vehicles, the door handles have been removed and glassed over.
Sometimes there is no turning back!

One of these days I hope to make it and finally meet some of my Maco Shark brethren.

I've finally reached that point in life that holding onto her long enough has paid off and will being the labours craft of love to bring her back to glory.

Sorry it's taken me this long guys.
Being a family man, sacrificing everything for family only to have my teeth kicked in and divorced... makes things hard to do what you really want to do.
