smrtmblues,
And everyone,
I have to stress I am not in the business of fiberglass parts,
Pictures of what we make will come as we make it...the simple fact is there is very little I can afford out of pocket,

This is more than just "ideas" but a lot is dreams...I have to start some place.

For example, the 68\69 side vents happened because I bought a pair of fenders cheap, Mike wanted to add that to his collection of stock parts so wala the mold happened,
Those 68\69 vents can and are turned around and ran on opposite sides to make the Gills we have all seen on makos,
I stopped by Mikes today and here is what was sent to Jim...not the best picture but...

I am designing my "bats" version which will be coming very soon since I want them on my car....

The reason I moved to side fenders next is I knew some people needed them but didn't know who if anyone would buy

The simple truth is this is hobby for me and bread and butter for Mike...For me to motivate Mike to work he has to make a little from it....I do NOT make any profits I get free parts and free work on my car from Mike that is all.

My car comes back from the engine builders I am guessing next week and I plan to play with it just a little I have had the silly thing since Dec last year and only limped it around the block,
But you guys know me know how I am I just have to install that mako clip and soon. in my case it will be pretty easy...it was on blazenets car so all the hinge is worked out...latches are there but I do need to find a good wiper door set up...yes, I want a wiper door on mine, I love gadgets....

Cheers,
P.

As promiced - Here's what I got last week:

That is an image of Angle of Gill UP

That is Angle DOWN, and BELOW, my cowl/quarters that will need some work -- but will soon be getting the GILLS installed!

Just haven't yet decided which way i prefer the gills - Up- or- Down - may have to play a bit with that. The Gills are hand-laid CSM and done in polyester - so fairly universal for installation. Most likely I'll mount a set of rails behind (as a framework) to fix the gills to - there's enough material to attach, and then fair into the cowl panel.
Cheers - Jim

Did you ever come up with a price for a set of side fenders?
I read something on another thread about an exchange with McBrain, but I'm trying to keep things in the proper place.
In keeping with the fender issue.... what about front inner fenders?

Randy I know that topic jumping in threads can be annoying and confusing,
Thanks you for the steer back on track,

The answer to the question about price about side fenders is effected by how many people will buy and when...as in if the person is ready to buy today or if the person is ready to buy sometime this year, that is just how Mike works,

So with no one ready to buy it looks like 250.00 each is a good figure to toss out,
But that could go up or down depending on materials and well to me blunt Mikes mood that day.

I thought your funds were a bit low to commit, and I know that world all too well...did you get the email I sent you?

I believe Mcbrain wants one side but didn't say he was ready to buy or not,

I tell you guys the way to get this going far faster is get serious and call Mike, motivate him, when he sees he can make a few dollars he will get hot to start,

Here is Mikes direct number Please do NOT call him past about 9:00 at night Florida time zone,
407-456-9927
People who want a kit or parts just call him and let him know,

Also keep in mind Mike can make about anything from fiberglass...his home and yard is stacked full of everything from vettes, parts and VW junk and buggies to C4's that bolt to VW pans to Fiberglass Polar bears....
