Robert,
I have been a custom vette/car fan basically all my life, I built a flared out radical Camaro in the 70's traded it plus cash for that 72 BB air roadster, at the time not worth what it is today,
The whole value thing doesn't bother me as in what I would have if I had kept the car it only bothers me in that I cant afford what I now want,
Thankfully I don't want numbers matching purist stock, I want custom so if I look long and hard enough a good donor in my budget will pop up,
If a person wants a c3 for custom and doesn't mind coupe then many cool cheap cars are out there,
I am not going into this project to stick it to people or try to get rich, after materials we will not mark the price up much at all,
I love this hobby and the people who share in my love of it, for too long I see the trend to be bone stock or mods you can't see, I don't bash or trash it but they bash our custom stuff all day long,
We lovers of custom are in the closet so to speak, if I can support my own hobby selling top quality hand laid parts for a low price to other who share my dreams that is an even bigger dream come true, ...We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of the dreams...
