New Owner page added.

This is the Maco that was found in the New York parking garage a few years back... bought by Joel Rosen, and now bought by a private owner a couple of years back. More text & pictures will be added as provided.

If you want a picture of a specific thing, just ask.

I have A small article about this car from A corvette fever mag A few years back, it says the guy lived in Queens and had it built by Motion, only drove it 1,000 miles, then it set in his garage for 22 years!

Thanks a TON Harry for sending that article!

Do you know what year that article was from? I'm just now entering the information into the Motion1 Owner page and would like to put a date on it.

Thanks again!

David

Harry low keys, but he knows a bunch about this hobby. I was cleaning up my maco/mako scrapbook and ran across a little blurb with a single picture. I will check it out tonight and see if there is anything else to add, but Harry probably has it covered.

That's probably the same one that Harry already sent me. Read the Motion1 owner page...

Thanks!

Yup, thats the same one Harry sent me, although the picture I have is completely different from the ones you have posted. Its a black and white side view.
Again, Harrys in the know on these things.

I didn't scan the picture from the article... these pictures are from the guy (Tim) that is doing the restoration work. Motion1 is the owner... Motion1 is the handle that he uses on the www.yenko.net forum.

Some minor updates. Got lots of new pictures from smooth... slowly putting them up.

Just a note: This Maco was originally painted by Gary Kupfer "The Local Brush" and will be repainted by him again. His web site is: www.localbrush.com

I just got word that Dan's MAKO probably won't make it to the SCR8 . Once the body guy was to inspect it closer we found it to be in alot worse shape than originaly thought. But it is better to do it right than not. Iwill still keep everyone posted on progress. THANX TIM
