My CNC mill could be used to make the Motion insert for the valve covers. There are a number of technical issues stopping me from doing it right now... the main one being that I don't good usable software to drive the mill, that will run on XP. The DOS software that I have is big pain to use.

Ok- I'm bumming. I would have loved one of these. I really hope you held another aside, but who knows. I have to admit- I saw the 'ashtray plate' and didn't read it cause I thought it was just an ashtray thread. PLEASE tell me you saved another one?????

If you beg/borrow/buy/steal a Maco of your own, then I promise that I'll do whatever it takes to make a whole other batch of them to give out to all the late comers.

Drawing butter is pretty easy... especially the little butter pats or sticks, now trying to draw melted butter, that's a little harder.

Yeah, I got a program that converts drawings into the CAD format for my system... but if you want something like that, then it is just easier to go to an engraving shop and have them engrave it for you... pretty inexpensive too.

The hard part is coming up with 3D stuff, like the Motion emblem. I do have a 3D digitizer and a few real Motion emblems, but again, that is a matter of good software.
