What a shame!I wonder what really went wrong?
Did he con cusomers or was it a
Patent issue?
This was a very promising custom
and those that were fortunate
enough to secure one of these custom
Vettes before this issue, should
feel proud to be one of the owners
of now a rare custom Vette.
I have done some research and have
found that Harry was right or at lest
part of the way. Hyundai did come out
with a car called the Tribune, which
has a striking similarity to this
custom Vette, but perhaps the real
question is, did Hyundai come out with
this car after the Custom Vette made it's
appearance. Knowing that a custom creation
"MOD" for what ever it's worth, wouldn't be
disputed when slightly changing it's looks
and creating a new car, knowing that the
original custom creation was made for an
original car.
Thus Hyundai in a since stold the design,
for a smaller sized vehical and wouldn't
have risk due to it being a totaly different
car in both slight looks and size class.
One can't help but to see the obvious
similarities when comparing the two vehicles,
but perhaps it is the Hyundai that looks like
the Avelate and not the Avelate that looks
like a Hyundai!
I have seen one on the street, jacked up like a
rice rocket, that looks like the Avelate when
done up in this fashion, thats why I posse this rant.
Cutos to Harry for bringing it up but picked
the wrong side of the fence to posse the question on.
We are a collective of Vette lovers, not hyundai
lovers!

And Maco Lovers we shall be, for Chevy my Vette for thee.
Power hath decended forth from thy Foot so our tires may
swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a rubber
river forth to thee and teeming with Maco's shall it ever be.
